Well, it's that time of year. We're getting ready to close down for the winter on Wednesday, November 7th. We really appreciated all of you this season and hope to see you again in March of 2019!

Hello Burger Barn fans. Looking outside with all the fresh snow reminds me that we are opening for the season. Hard to believe we have been doing this 35 years now.. We are opening with a fresh start and some new menu items again. We will have Thai Peanut Chicken Tacos and an old favorite, a Chicken Club Sandwich with ranch, bacon, swiss and all the fixins on a toasted brioche bun. We will grab the snow shovels and plan to open on Monday, March 5th. Hope to see you all sometime this season and will keep you posted on our daily specials....
Hi Burger Barn followers. It's now fall and what is known as "shoulder season" up here in Bridgeport. We had our first snowfall last week. As we move into October we will be making some of your old favorites and some new ones for specials. Chili Rellenos, marinated tri-tip sandwiches, homemade soups and bison chili to name a few... Hope to see some of you in the next month or so. We are planning to close approximately November 15 or so this year but that also depends on the snowfall... It's been a great year and I want to thank all our loyal customers and many new ones for making it so.
Hello Burger Barn followers. We are opening Monday, March 20th for the 2017 season. We are dedicated to great food and great service again this year. One of our new menu items is a much requested burrito dubbed the Baja Bomber. It's a beef, bean and cheese chimichanga topped with chili con carne, jack and cheddar cheeses, guacamole, onions, sour cream and jalapenos. We also have Tri-Tip Philly Dips, and 2 brand new chicken sandwiches. One of them is the "Firecracker" with chipotle mayo, jalapenos, lettuce, tomatoes and melted pepperjack on a toasted brioche bun. The other is called the "Clucking Cowboy" with BBQ sauce, bacon, cheddar, lettuce and tomatoes on a brioche bun. Now, if you're still not hungry, we have lots of your usual favorites! Join us for a great season of good food and lots of water in our area for fishing, hiking and all kinds of outdoor activities!
The Burger Barn wants to thank all of you for your patronage this season. We officially closed for the winter today, as we sold our last burger! We are planning to re-open in March 2017. We had a great season thanks to all our fans out there!!
It's the middle of September in the Eastern Sierras. We are finally able to start our daily specials again. Homemade Chile Verde Burritos, Bison Chili with fresh cornbread and some of our old favorites such as Tri-Tip Dips with the best Au Jus you've ever had! We'll be open 2 more months this season so hope to see you soon...
The season is in full swing now. We are serving up fresh and tasty items and running specials every day. One of our best sellers is the new Carnitas Street taco with 2 griddled corn tortillas, tender carnitas, a drizzle of spicy salsa verde and topped with fresh cut Pico de Gallo. Another top seller is the Carne Asada Fries. It is grilled seasoned steak on top of fries with melted cheddar and jack cheeses, sour cream, guacamole and fresh pico. One other great item is the Burrito Bowl. It has homemade rice and beans, shredded romaine, sour cream, guacamole, salsa, olives, our house made tortilla chips, tomatoes, onions ,cheese and cilantro topped with your choice of freshly grilled chicken breast, tender shredded beef, carnitas, steak, or just vegetarian style with no meat. Are you hungry yet?

Hello Burger Barn fans! We are opening Monday, March 9th. Lots of new menu items this season such as Croissant French Toast topped with a fruit medley and whipped cream. There will be breakfast bagels such as our grilled steak, caramelized onion, swiss cheese and egg bagel and the Ham/Cheddar/egg Bagel. We have Tot-chos (tater tots with cheese, salsa, ranch, and applewood smoked bacon, Carnitas Fries topped with fresh pork carnitas, jack and cheddar cheeses, fire-roasted salsa verde, sour cream and jalapenos. Chicken Taquitos, Julio's "special" taco, and a variety of daily specials such as our "made from scratch" soups. We will be serving some of our new recipe soups this season such as Chorizo Corn Chowder, Broccoli-Cheddar, Chicken Tortilla, Ultimate Potato with bacon and cheese, Bison Chili, Kicked-up Albondigas, Chicken with white and wild rice and much more! New desserts include Apple-Cinnamon Tacos filled with warm spiced apples and topped with icecream. Chocolate-dipped churros are new. And if you still have room, the peanut butter milk shake will stick to your ribs if you can still feel them! Hope to see you here!
Hello Burger Barn friends! We open tomorrow, Monday the 17th for the season. We have a few new items to try on the menu. One is our new Chile Verde Burrito stuffed with tender pork, fire roasted green chiles and our own blend of spices in a delicious spicy sauce, with jack and cheddar cheeses, and cool sour cream. We also have grilled shrimp tacos stuffed iwth sweet seasoned grilled shrimp, cabbage slaw, chipotle mayo, cheese, tomatoes and onions. Tomorrow's soup is homemade "Ultimate Potato" served with cheese and bacon bits on top. Hope to see you!
It's almost the end of summer and we just added a brand new burrito to our menu. The California Burrito. We don't take credit for an original idea; we just buckled under pressure from our customers for a Grilled Carne Asada Burrito with sour cream, fresh salsa, chunky guacamole, cheddar and jack cheeses and of course, french fries! Yup, potatoes in their best form! So far the reviews have been 5 star. Come and try one soon.
We're leaning our specials to you carnivores out there. Torrorow will be Elk Burgers and Bison Burgers. They are both available in Cheddar/Bacon, Regular, or Caramelized red onions, bacon and provolone cheese on a toasted ciabatta french roll served with our "almost famous" fries. We also have shaved tri-tip sandwiches grilled with green bells, onions and topped with provolone and pepperocinis. Definitely off the "hoof" this week!
